National Council of Integrative Medicine Bangladesh (NCIM) is the
sister concern of National Medical Association of Bangladesh
(NMA). In the other hand, it is charter of National Medical
Association of Bangladesh (NMA). NMA was established in the year
2003. But it was incorporated by the Government in the year 2005. Its
Registration number is S4467/568/2005. Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir
(Dr. MH.Kabir) is the president and Dr. Md. Giash Uddin Bhuiya (Dr.
M.G. Bhuiya) is the Secretary & Registrar of it .It represents and
register all the integrated Doctors/Physicians in Bangladesh to spread
out Integrative health care services for the Development of mankind
of the grassroots level. It recognizes and regulates the following
degrees (5Years+1Year) /Diplomas (3Years+1Year) /Training courses

as-
1. Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery in Complementary medicine-MBBS (CM).

2. Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Complementary Medicine-
BDS (CM).

3. Bachelor of Complementary Medicine & Surgery-
MBBS (CM).

4. Bachelor of Complementary Medicine & Surgery (BCMS).
5. Bachelor of Complementary Dentistry & Surgery (BCDS).
6. Diploma in Medicine & Surgery in Integrative medicine-DMS.
7. Diploma in Dental Technology in Integrative medicine-DDT.
8. Diploma in Complementary Medicine & Surgery (DCMS).
9. Diploma in Complementary Dentistry & Surgery (DCDS).
10. Other postgraduate Degree/Diploma/Paramedic Courses in
Complementary or Integrative medicine as Stated in the
Schedule.

This National Council of Integrative Medicine Bangladesh (NCIM)
provides different categories professional registration to Integrated or complementary physicians of different levels. The Categories are a follows-
1. B- Category for Bachelor (5Years+1Year)/Above.

2. D- Category for Diploma (3Years+1 Year).

3. L- Category for Integrated Physicians having training less than
3 years.
